Gods in the Machines
The gigantic Kolat come from Korb, and are driven by wanderlust to reject most attempts to civilization, seeing the act of setting in one place as a sign of weakness. While they are raiders and conquerers on their homeworld, they can never keep what they conquer. Few survive long on before coming to the attention of the Technic League, but those that do often find home in the like-minded barbarians of the Numerian plains.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Kolat lifespans are brief, lasting at most 40 years. At 5, they are considered adults.
Alignment. Kolat society prizes cruelty and individuality over other values, although individual Kolat have a capacity for kindness and social behavior.
Size. Kolat are between 7 and 8 feet tall and weigh between 280 and 340 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Thrower. Your close range with any thrown weapon is doubled. The weapon’s maximum range is unchanged.
Multi-armed: You have four arms. As a bonus action, once per round, you may interact with your environment up to two additional times. In addition, these hands may be used to hold items (such as extra weapons or ammunition), although they do not necessarily grant you additional actions to use those items. At 7th level, you can make one additional attack with a thrown weapon when you take the Attack action.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. In addition, you are considered one size larger for the purposes of grappling.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Kolati. Kolati is a simple, guttural language with as few words as possible, and new words are created by adding old words together. Kolati poetry and music are similar: brief songs a poems describing significant events in simple terms. Kolati art is primarily representational.
